This is the BEST Laymon book ever! Most people say The Travelling
Vampire Show is his best work, I disagree. TTVS was okay, but the end
left much to be desired. Where as Island doesn't. Usually I don't like
first person but this is different. The story: A group of people are
standard on an island when the boat they travelled on explodes. And
that's the opening - and it gets better, especially when they find the
house and the cages. Read it, you'll love it.

Desperately in
search of his book: A Writer's Tale. WARNING: Stay away from Night in
the Lonesome October - only the end is good. The rest is boring.

Mass Market Paperback: 504 pages
Publisher: Leisure Books (March 2002)
Language: English
ISBN: 0843949783
